3111 E. Broad Street continues to be a blight on the neighborhood. The deck in the front has been partially repaired but there is still junk all over the front porch and the roof of the porch looks like it is about to fall off the house. The work that was done on the front porch was done by numerous contractors who I doubt are licensed. I also never saw a building permit so I am sure there was never a city inspection.There is also a lot of woodwork that does not have paint on it.

This house has been vacant and has looked terrible and has been a nuisance for years. It is obvious that the owner has no plans to do anything with this house. Numerous people have written about this house on see click fix and I cannot figure out why the city of Richmond cannot do something to get this owner to either do something with this house or sell it to someone who will. The neighbors of this house would appreciate it if the city official that answers this item explain why the city cannot do anything about this problem.
